The show's central symbol is the London Underground — the one space that unites every Londoner regardless of sex, orientation, or background, even in a city pulling itself apart. I built the visual language around that idea: projection content that shifted between the intimacy of Skye Hughes' personal, closeted world and the cold, institutional imagery of a regime enforcing "perfect" conformity, using the Tube as a recurring visual thread stitching both realities together. Nothing in the projection design was static — every transition between Skye's internal world and the dystopia closing in around her had to be built as a live, precisely timed cue in QLab, so the shift in atmosphere landed in the same instant as the performers' own shift on stage.
